Active topics

Is this search feature down or is it turning up results for other people? It hasn't turned up any results for me since 2010 rolled around; I had just been trying it from home and thought perhaps it was an issue on my end, but I've finally tested from other operating systems and browsers now with the same result. New posts works, just not the active topics search...unless there is some other criteria for what an "active topic" is that I'm missing and it really shouldn't be turning up anything for whatever reason. I feel like I must have missed a memo or something.

Edit: just realized the tick box for reply notifications wasn't set for this post...now I can test the e-mail feature properly

Donya, Stijn did a program upgrade and no one is getting e-mail alerts to subjects they are watching. He's working on a solution to it.

DOH! I did see the e-mail notification test thread, but it didn't occur to me that it's probably the same issue at hand. I actually hadn't noticed that I wasn't getting e-mail notifications (not sure whether that says more about the state of my inbox or the state of my brain ), so the only thing that tipped me off was that my usual habbit of logging in and going straight to the active topics search wasn't turning anything up. I went for the first week this month thinking the forum was completely inactive due to failure to look further down to see recent post dates LOL.

I'm trying to find the culprit that blocks the notifications. The server logs gave no clue, nor did the message board logs helped me any further. But' I'm working on it.
Who all do have problems with the message notifications not getting through?

I've heard from Winterlily, and tryen2b, and crystal blue in the past few days and they aren't getting messages either. Add Donya and myself as well, of course. I'm sure there are other members too if they aren't too shy to speak up! *hint, hint*

Do the messages come through now? (they are send from messageboard@applesnail.net)?
