Snails, Severums, and Snow!

Postby rarefish on Tue Mar 04, 2008 5:26 pm

With almost everything being closed today because of the snow here in arkansas (14" here :D), I decided today would be a good day to clean the snail tank and get some pictures of the snaily crew. Don't worry- they were out for less than 2 minutes. They thought it would be funny to "run away" anyways ...

Wow! beautiful snails! Are those green eggs haustrum eggs? Your horse is so handsome--he sure looks well taken care of as do the snailies and fish

Thanks- yes, those are haustrum eggs ! As you can probably tell the snail tank needs a good outside wipe-down .

Forgot to add- my horse Major is 21 in that picture- he'll be 23 this March. He's the love of my life, and I really miss our riding outings, but I do what is best for him. He is a really great horse, and I'm fortunate to have him in my life.
