Yes, I'm a 35 year old woman who gave her canas a wedding. I'm a 35 year old woman who plays with snails. I never said I was normal, but I do love my snails.

I laughed so hard at this I cried. I showed it to my co-worker and explained what each frame meant ("asks for her foot in marriage", "you may rasp the bride" etc.) I don't think this did anything to convince him that I'm less of a snail weirdo, but at least he knows I'm not the only one. Thanks for making my day. I have to go fix my mascara now.

Hahah that is great. You take such great photos and the stories to go with them are even better. Will we hear any scooting of little snail feet around the tank after the honeymoon?

Thanks, I'm really just a big goof, I get it from my dad. I'm hoping for the scooting of baby snail feet. I've set the mood, low lights, Barry White on the radio. and they've been *snuggling* alot. Delilah has been out of the water alot, I think she is trying to find just the right spot.

Docbree, you would have loved the reception, they danced, they did karaoke, one got a little tipsy on tankwater and tried to rasp minister bluesnail. Those snails sure know how to party.

Thanks Chickadee...you must be reading my mind, I'm already planning it. It's all the ladies in tank town have been talking about. I love that my tanks are so tolerant, there's even talk of a civil ceremony for Speed Racer and Shakespeare. They have that "special" relationship in the boys tank.

My males do the same in their boys only tank! I guess when the women are out of the picture they will switch teams

I try to give the boys regular visits with the girls. I know it's not needed, but I do, for the sake of clutches. But it doesn't matter, the minute they get back in their own tank, those two boys are right back at it. I used to worry they would hurt each other. Even though in the back of my mind I knew it was common. But they seem to be ok with being sympathetic to each others needs.
