Hi! My name is Nicole and I am new to these forums and to Apple snails in general. I have 5 little guys and one big guy. I don't have names for the little ones yet but the big one goes by the name Leroy Brown. I haven't learned how to sex my snails (ok, that sounds like a George Michael song, lol) so I am not sure who are girls and who are boys. I am also not sure of their species or colors (yeah, I am THAT new) so maybe you guys can help me? It would make it easier to name them.

I will post pics of the little guys first..I tried to get all of them in a picture.

Very cute pics!

The light feet / striped shell snails are one of my favorite colour/patterns.

Love the last pic too - the expression on the dark snail's face is grand!

Hello and welcome to the forum family! The little ones are light striped purples and Leroy is a wild or dark striped brown. They are all diffusa.

Hi there. I know this is arelatively old post - but if you're still around, I'd like to offer some advice. First of all, very cute snails! Hope they are doing well.
Secondly, I used to have pink "cave" exactly like the one you have in your photo. One day I found a snail stuck inside and had a very hard time getting her out - I thought I was going to have to break it, but I finally maneuvered her out with only a small scratch on her shell. My snails were growing extremely rapidly at that time and I just didn't expect that to happen. Please keep an eye on your babies and when they get bigger, I would recommend removing that decoration. :snail:
