Camallanus Worms

I just discovered I bought some fish with a camallanus worm infestation. Can these worms be passed onto apple snails? Turbo hasn't been looking so hot lately and I'm wondering if thats why. Shes about a year and a half so I suppose it could be old age, but I am not sure. Also is fenbendazole (dewormer) harmful to snails? I read mixed reviews over whether or not it was. I've never come across anyone reporting an infestation in their snails. The de-wormer is a strong one so start with the lowest dose possible and repeat if necessary. It's my understanding you should see results within 24 hours. Doing a good substrate vacuuming after 72 hours is suggested. Your snails should be fine if you don't overmedicate.
