I am very curious about the nature of the snail shells. I have lots of questions, like what are the evolutionary factors and mechanisms behind the formation of shell 3D geometry, function, and coloration, for example that of a garden snail, a nerite, a marisa, the nautilus, etc? Is it a separate field of science?
