genetic compatibility?

are all species of snails compatible, i.e., can they interbreed? For example, canni with marisa, garden snail with aspersum? I have seen a flat white-lipped garden snail mating with a regular garden snail.

Certain apple snails can successfully breed with other apple snails such as spixi with marissa. Aquatic snails and land snails cannot breed with each other.

thanks a lot, that´s interesting to know. There really are fertile descendants of Asolene spixi x Marisa cornuarietis?? Quite different genus, after all....... . How do the hybrids look like?
