Very interesting. I wonder if crushed cana eggs in water sprayed over growing veggies would be a good insect repellant. If I lived closer to florida and knew of a place where there were cana eggs for the picking just like that picture, I would give it a try. I also wonder if crushed cana eggs in water sprayed on fire ants would have a different effect.

as far as I know, P. diffusa and Scalaris eggs are toxic too.
