Shell: Neritoid (the species name
indicates this already) with distincive difference between male and female snails
(see picture above).
The shell of this snail is quite heavy and thick.
Colour: olive green with faint brown bands.
Operculum: corneous
Body: Dark.
Eggs: Aquatic eggs in gelatineous clutches.

Habitat: Lives in streaming, oxigen rich water (hence to absense of a breathing
siphon).
